Seductive and soulful, Alina Baraz releases a new album, “It Was Divine”. The artist has a mellow, jazzy vibe that compliments her collabs with other featured artists, “6LACK”, “Khalid”, and “Nas”.
The theme for her new album is centered around endings becoming new beginnings. A concept we can all embrace through music and arts during this global pandemic.
Baraz tells Apple Music that she wanted this album “to serve as a new introduction” as she details a painful break-up through the way she knows best: writing and creating.
Although listening to this album is a rejuvenating experience, some of my top fav songs are: “My Whole Life, “Off the Grid” (ft. Khalid), and “Say You Know”.
