Brevin Kim, Fifty Grand, & Coop - Horseman
A sweet trap symphony orchestrated by the five Horsemen known as Brevin Kim, Fifty Grand, Coop, and redmirror producer Kellbender is here and ready to baptize your eardrums. Titled Horseman and honing in on a playtime of 3 minutes, 13 seconds, this record graces us with an exposition from the Boston-bred duo of blood brothers Brevin Kim. The distorted, imperfect sound we’ve come to know and love is coated over the pre-hook before laying down the groundwork for Fifty Grand to put the cherry on top with his naturally high pitched head-voice. Coop offers many different styles and methods of delivery, but this time he enters with his low-tone to offset Fifty’s hook. I’m loving the production as well. Here it’s reminiscent of some of the earlier BONES and $UICIDEBOY$ records. The final element of this release is the visual filmed & edited by Jon Osterman. Like many of the recent Brevin Kim and Coop visuals, there are light on-screen effects with a run-and-gun style creating a more organic and branded piece of content.
