Mofe. - Debris
A new face to the scene, Mofe. is an up and coming artist that exhibits just as much talent as he does potential. ”Debris“, is the lead song off of his four-track EP entitled Odeon 8400, which was released this past March. Coincidentally, I discovered Mofe. through TikTok, in which the aforementioned track was used on a video by user @wisdm.
Although just a minute and twenty-one seconds long, Debris draws you in from the moment the track begins. Mofe.’s smooth voice immediately caught my attention as I was drawn into the ethereal beat, prod. by Broccyboi. An unexpected, yet welcome beat switch occurs just thirty seconds in. Mofe.’s pitched down vocals echoes a southern chopped and screwed style in a great display of his range as an artist.
