The Weeknd - After Hours (Album)

After four years of urgently waiting for a new studio album release- The Weeknd finally dropped After Hours, on March 20, 2020.

He didn’t just stop there, either:  After Hours was then accompanied by three more melancholic bonus tracks, “Nothing Compares”, “Missed You”, and “Final Lullaby”.

When we thought that was a treat, Abel then did us in with an EP titled After Hours (remixes), where he added remixes of some of the album’s hit songs, “After Hours”, “Heartless”, and “Save Your Tears”.

XO til we overdose is one of the strongest fan bases a mainstream artist has. The Weeknd dedicated After Hours to a fan who had passed away shortly before the album release. The fan, Lance, actually hosted the “XO Podcast” and ran the Weeknd Twitter fan page TheXOPodcast2

If you ask me, there couldn’t have been a better time for some new, old-school Weeknd music to come out. Sitting at home during a time of quarantine, Abel takes us back down a dark, yet relatable road through his music.

Also, The Weeknd has been featured on SNL numerous times since his release, if you're looking for something to watch during your self-isolation!
