King, Tanj, and the team, portray a long, solo journey pursuing life’s purpose. King preaches about staying focused, wanting more (blue "hunnits”), persisting with a dream, all while overcoming the hardships and sacrifices, that achieving your goals consists of. We can only learn through our experiences, and King humbly expresses that he’s learning as he’s living, and while doing so, successfully maintaining extremely clean Nike’s.
Kingfrom98 is an inspiring artist, and this video is built to match his exact tone. From the slow-mo shots and the drone footage, to the dope whip speeding through the video, we watch King hanging out of a moving car, representing this life zoom by us, if we don’t take control. The aesthetic of the smoke bombs, outfits, scenery, and post production coloring, perfectly compliment each other.
Tanj somehow got this video to resemble an old memory, while embodying a dream of the future simultaneously.
A Tanj and King collaboration is always a personal favorite of mine- for its consistency and strength in each project. These dudes know how to make a statement, and I love watching them grow together. They truly flourish together, and compliment each other’s talents, while being their authentic selves.
